Tumpi Flow is a performance on planet earth, based in Suriname. This intuitive work deals with the politics of participation, a fascination with causes of challenges in society, to encourage dialogue on public secrets.
Besides participating in different communities, this concept is about learning new things, and goes hand in hand with the passion to teach. Encounters give Tumpi the opportunity to exchange knowledge and demonstrate conversations about violence.
Engagement is important to interact with young and elder children. Because its focus is on a dialectical approach, philosophy is important for this art work. ‘Both subjectivity and agency lack in our structure of society’, is Tumpi’s argument to assume that our economic, religious, and political foundations are problematic.
The foundation of this performance is based on a technical background, the involvement of leadership and creativity to serve business, social and cultural goals.
